Since mid-February, rumors have been circling that singer Joe Jonas and actress Sophie Turner are expecting their first child. However, there still has no confirmation coming from the couple. They’ve been active on social media, though.
The 1/3 of the Jonas Brothers, Joe, posted a photo of his wife on Instagram as a birthday tribute on February 21. He declared his love for the Game of Thrones actress by saying that she is the love of his life and that life is better with her around.
The pregnancy talks began to surface a week before that when E! reported that Turner is set to give birth sometime in the summer of 2020. A source stated that she’s already in the early days of pregnancy and that the married couple is excited and have told their families about it.
Another source revealed to JustJared that Jonas and Turner keeping the pregnancy on the down-low, but their friends and family are excited for them.
Thirty-year-old Joe and 24-year-old Sophie first “met” on social media when the DNCE frontman slid into her DMs. Before that, their mutual friends have been trying to introduce them to each other. They have been spotted hanging out since 2016 and became Instagram official in January 2017. Nine months after, they announced their engagement via Instagram.
The couple made celebrity headlines in May 2019 when they had a surprise Las Vegas wedding right after the Jonas Brothers’ comeback performance at the Billboard Music Awards.
Fans were still on a high after the exciting performance from the popular boyband who just came out from a long hiatus.
People only found out about what was happening when DJ and music producer Diplo held a live stream during the ceremony. They then had a second wedding in Chateau de Tourreau in France in June 2019.
