Former couple Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth both attended the February 7 party, just a week after their divorce was finalized. Although, they were photographed separately outside the event. The 27-year-old Cyrus, who donned a casual white tank top paired with black pants, was there with her parents, Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus, and a couple of friends.
According to a report, Miley and Liam attending the party wasn’t a big deal. Since it was pretty packed, things weren’t awkward for them.
Miley and Liam have had a roller-coaster relationship for almost a decade. They first started dating while filming their 2010 movie, The Last Song. The 30-year-old Australian actor was still a relatively unknown celeb at that time while Miley already gained fame playing Hannah Montana in a Disney Channel show of the same name.
After a few years of dating, the two officially announced their engagement in June 2012, when she was 19 and he was 22 years old. However, they called it off the next year and broke up.
Rumors that they reunited first came out in 2016. From there, their relationship blossomed yet again and they were seen attending red carpet events together. Miley even made a song for Liam, the hit song Malibu, which was released in 2017. Just a few days before the end of 2018, Miley and Liam secretly tied the knot in their home in Nashville.
Sadly, they announced their split in August 2019. The Hunger Games actor then filed for divorce from the Wrecking Ball singer. According to their statement, they wanted to focus on themselves and their careers. After agreeing on a settlement, the divorce was finalized in January 2020.
Both of them have since moved on to new relationships. Cyrus is a picture of bliss with Australian musician Cody Simpson. They have known each other for a long time as friends, and Miley even said that Cody is her best friend.
Meanwhile, Liam has been frequently spotted in public with his new ladylove, model Gabriella Brooks. It was reported that they have spent time in Hemsworth’s home country, Australia. He was also photographed introducing Brooks to his parents.
